You Deserve a Beautiful Smile
Are you missing some or all of your natural teeth? Burley Dentistry offers custom dentures for patients in Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas. Dentures provide a natural appearance and restore your ability to chew. Read more information about the types of dentures to find a solution that best fits your needs.
Traditional removable dentures mimic the natural appearance of your teeth and restore the ability to chew. Our Charlotte restorative dentist crafts natural looking replacement teeth, set in a gum-colored plastic mold. The mold fits over your gums and can be secured with dental adhesive and removed for regular hygiene and maintenance. Patients often choose full dentures to completely replace their missing teeth.
We also offer partial removable dentures. These are designed like full dentures, but only replace some of the missing teeth and are held in place by a clasp. Our Charlotte dentist will work with you to select a denture solution that works best for you.
The biggest complaint about traditional dentures is the lack of stability.
Implant secured dentures use dental implants and either bar or ball attachments to secure the dentures in your mouth. Both options work well for patients with concerns about dentures becoming loose or popping out of the mouth. Implant supported bridges are partial dentures supported by dental implants. Our Charlotte restorative dentist will help you find a solution that will work for you.
Temporary dentures provide replacement teeth while your permanent dentures are being crafted in the lab. This helps you avoid a sunken appearance to your face and allows you to eat normally and smile with confidence. We craft temporary dentures to look as natural as possible. Fortunately, the turnaround time for dentures is very quick, usually only a week and a half, compared to a month and a half for traditional dentures. Specialized technology allows us to accomplish this goal for our patients.
If you are considering dental implants, same day dentures are available on the day of your placement surgery. These are not attached to the implants, but allow you to maintain your appearance during the time it takes for the implants to heal.
